What is an "M" class winch mount?

What is an "M" class winch mount?

I am looking at buying a Defender winch mounting bracket from a Rover Parts supplier and he wants to know if my Superwinch 8500LP winch has an "M" class mount... I have no idea what "M" class refers to and there is nothing in my winch literature referring to mounting "class"... can someone please explain the significance of "M" class to me and how I can determine if my winch meets that class?

I assume that refers to the Warm "M" series winches. Look at the specs for an M8000
