Hi All.

I will be meeting the group at Watcom exit. I will be in the large red landrover disguised as a Ford PU. Mostly coming along so Roger can spot the convoy when we pass Annis.
Have an axe and a shovel for maintenance. If we find garbage I can carry it out and dump it at work as long as it isnt an abandoned car or refrigerator.

See you tomorrow.

Carl.

Nice photos Bill, thanks for posting.

I have added a bunch more....

A beautiful snowy run through the Whipsaw, we put up a bunch of new trail markers and arrived into the Lodestone Lake camp in good time. Big thank you to Shawn & Teresa for having a campfire and tasty hot meal along with appertisers, wine and desert!

We all woke up to a few inches of fresh snow and a crisp morning. Then after breaking camp had a some what scary "slide" down the 6000ft of icy switch backs into Coalmont.

Great group of people, what an awesome way to finish off our 2012 camping season!

Cheers, Andy

Well those pictures of Andy's really tell a story. I wondered where everyone was after I got to the bottom of the hill. Good to see Bill and Chris went back to help. The snow on the hill obviously turned to ice as it was packed down. I went down in 3rd Low, with all the gear weight in my truck and being first ; glad I wasn't last.

Yes, it was curling with Land-Rovers :bigsmurf:
Like others have already said, thanks very much to Shawn and Teresa for their generous efforts to feed us all after a weary day on the trail.

Hey Bill, for a guy that claims to hate the snow, you sure seem to be having a good time here...

Hey Pete, you're absolutely right, I normally whine about snow and cold and haven't really changed my mind in that respect. That being said it was a whole lot of fun and a great group that helped add to the camaraderie. You would have had a blast.

Hey Pete, yes we did miss you! Just shows without my two trusty VP's along (old & new) everything goes to pot!

No need to be ashamed that you couldn't make it, we will forgive you! (dont seel the truck)!

Cheers, Andy

PS - I know what was in Bill's mug..... after a few of them he didn,t even know it was snowing!!
PPS - Did you & the VW guys smooth out Falcon Hill on your earlier trip, it was nice, like driving up the road up to Burnaby Mountain!

So Bill, are you saying it's the company that keeps you from coming when I'm there...?

Does this have something to do with ICBC...? :blackeye:
