Hi Bill, thanks for posting the photos, unfortunately I was unable to make it this year.

How was the show, did the rain hold off? What was the total Land Rover count?

I didn't see that beautiful Series 1 in the photos? Maybe next year?

I was there from about 1 pm until about 3:30. It was perfect! I just squeezed in between the rains. There was a nice selection of cars! I counted 13 Land Rovers: a Disco, a P38, a lightweight, and a collection of series/Defenders. One even had a Barbie doll LizII on it.

There were some great Astons, two nice Jensen Interceptors, a 1911 Rolls Royce, and some very cute little sport cars that remind me of gumdrops. Also, some nice Bentleys, and, of course, a large collection of Jags. One Rover (car) was slowly self-recycling. A sign promised it would return next year fully restored. Someone has a LOT of work to do, but I wish him/her well.

I don't know if it counts as a car, but someone brought a Robin Reliant. As it was parked, it didn't fall over.

Also, banished to the outside car park for the sin of being FRENCH, was a great Citroen DS. It was a shame it was white, as I think they look lovely and sinister in black.

Hmmm. It seems I'm only allowed three photos per post, so here's the Jensens...

Hi Andy,
Craig's report says it all. He came in after I'd gone home. Weather was pretty typical for the ABFM. It was raining lightly on and off while I was there. Mike Veigh unveiled his ground-up rebuild of the all black 110 five door he built for his wife. Mike is into the full stealth look for his Rover's. His daily driver is an all black 3 door 110. Isn't it about time Mike jarred loose with a Rover-Lander's membership? There were no RR classics or new style, no Freelander's or Series I's and only the one stock disco II. Lots of lost opportunity for class wins. All you trophy hogs should make an effort for some easy loot next year.

PS Stuart Longair's photos are now posted in the gallery.
