Fathers Day Beacon Hill Park Britiish Car show

#1 Post by island dormy » Sun Jun 08, 2014 9:22 pm

The annual Beacon Hill Parks British car show and shine will again be happening on you guessed it Fathers day June 15th 2014. Lots of shiny older English motor vehicles, some antique motorbikes and maybe even a few vintage Land rovers will show up. Do not miss it.

Hello

Yes you can bring your 94 Disco, the Jag club uses this event as a big general meeting or anniversary of the club and they bring 1 year old vehicles. Although the main idea is really to show off antique English cars.

I do not think many of the up island Rovers are coming down to Beacon Hill Park this year as Qualicum Beach is having there annual 600 car event and the Old english car club seems to have over 50 British vehicles pre registered. Thats where we are going weather permiting.

Talk with you later Victor
( Go early or you will not get inside the nice main event area and may just end up in the parking lot.)

looks like I will be heading to the show in my 88" and Mike will be bringing his Dormobile. So there will be at least 2 Rovers on site.

Hi Guys

Two rovers from the Cowichan valley went up to the huge 600 car Qualicum fathers day show. That made 4 rovers in total. Two in the show, two parked on the street. This is truely an amazing car show with maybe 60 British vehicles attending in total. As we were leaving 3 fellows in Land rover shirts gave us a big thumbs up sorry we could not stop and talk with you, who ever you were.

Next event Brits on the Beach in Ladysmith. Unless someone organizes a coffee or pub meet before then.

Sorry I missed you! saw a Series 2 that looked "untouched" which is always cool. Didn't bring mine as I didn't know we were going untill my wife turned right and headed north. Father's day suprise :)

Hope to be at Brits.. I have passes for the VI Music Fest that weekend so I'm torn.
