2019 Founders Day - Saturday 13th April - Heritage Park

Attention All Land Rover Owners, the biggest Indoor Land Rover Show on the West Coast

Mark it on your calendars, Saturday April 13th 2019 once again held at the Heritage Park, Luckakuck Way, Chilliwack.
Doors open at 11am until 7pm, see the poster below for more details.

This years event promises to be bigger and better, a huge amount of indoor space, a larger indoor obstacle course and lots more going on, loads of Land Rover related merchandise, raffle, prizes and activities.
To celebrate 71 years of Land Rover, the first 71 Land Rovers through the door will receive a unique Rover-Landers Metal Enamel Camping Mug

We plan to arrange onsite camping for those coming from out of town and a fun off-road adventure into the mountains the Sunday following the event.

More detailed information will be posted in the upcoming weeks, stay tuned.....

Looking for volunteers on Friday evening to help set up the Obstacle Course and helpers on the day with parking, course marshals etc...

Hi Jordan,

Thanks for the tip, I tried half a dozen times to enter our event over the last couple of days but the "Submit an Event" form is not working! :roll:
I then tried to contact them to let them know the Submit form is not working but the "contact us" form is not working :roll:

Oh well, it was a good idea anyway!

This year at Founders Day to celebrate 71 years of Land Rover we will be giving out a unique custom made metal enamel Camping Mug to the first 71 Land Rovers through the door.... if you do happen to be number 72 through the door or want a matching one for your "other half", then we will have a few extra mugs for sale on the merchandise table Once there gone, there gone!

What is the game plan for the onsite camping please?

Is anyone coming from the Princeton area....?

Hi Bill,
There is a small field out back of the Heritage Park building, camping has been arranged there for Friday evening and Saturday evening.
There are washrooms & showers available but expect basic field camping (no electric hook-ups).
There is a group coming from the Okanagan but not sure which route they are taking.

I see the doors open at 11am on Saturday.....did you want folks with vehicles to arrive and set up at an earlier time or is 11am when you would like us to arrive and set up?

Hi Bill,

Doors open at 11am, so the best time to arrive and drive in is between 11am and noon.

Doors will remain open all through the day for those who cant arrive until a little later ...

We had 74 Land Rovers of all sizes and shapes parked up on display and many of them went on to run the fun Log Obstacle Course.
