Holyoak Snow Run, December 15th

#1 Post by cbalme » Fri Dec 13, 2019 10:25 am

Bjorn and I were thinking of heading out into the mountains since there was a big dump of snow yesterday. If there's any interest we can organize a meeting spot Sunday morning.

It'll be cold and snowy so bring warm clothes and tire chains.

Let us know if you are coming! We are going to try to make it up to the radio tower and maybe a cabin if we can find it.

Ah shuck, doesn’t look like I’m going to make it out this time around.

Just talked to guys from the radio club. They are going to be serving the Brenton repeater Sunday. They’ll give you a tour if you’re there. Sometime after 10 am.

chains were not a requirement but definitely would have helped.

Had a lot of fun! Bjorn even found a mud hole!

We also made it up to Rheinhart Lake and the Cabin up there, which had a Land Rover Magazine not being used for reading but something else...

Everyone made it out in one piece which is always nice.
