I'm looking to have my recently purchased 109 moved from the Duncan area down to . Does anyone know of anyone offering vehicle hauling services? I've had a quote from a Duncan towing company but it was a little pricey to say the least...
Cheers,
Paul.

Hi Paul
All the towing/flatbed companies will be about the same. 49th Parallel towing (Ladysmith) or McBrides (Chemainus) are small independents that both do good work. UHaul rents 3/4 ton trucks and flatbed tow trailers... that might be more cost effective for you. Another reason to keep a P38 or Disco 2 around... they are great rovers for towing home other rovers!

Re: Trailering Land Rovers on the Island
I had some moving to do and looked around at renting or borrowing trailers from friends. U Haul was only about fifty bucks for the day to rent a car hauler. All the hassle and concern if I did damage to a friends trailer was all removed. I was very impressed and felt it was fifty bucks well spent.
