New Defender is on the Island

#1 Post by BlkP38 » Wed Jul 22, 2020 11:22 am

Victoria JLR have just received a 110. Looked like top of the range c/w roof rack. Why is it that everything that comes out of JLR these days look so aggressive and menacing?
Worth a look if you are down that way. But not for me. Although seems like they may be be introducing a stripped version for Europe with rubber mats and conventional springs. Maybe even get rid of that daft recovery gear box on the side.
Eric.

Went by today and had a look. Not for me. There were 2 trucks one white and one black one. The black one has plastic checker plate patterns on the rear taillights, bonnet and side mirrors? I tried putting my foot on the side mirrors to test out the tread but it’s near impossible to get your foot on the mirror!

Did they actually let you get in it? I've heard they won't even open them up for anyone! lol.

They had a Defender X in the showroom that I got to sit in and take a look around. It was very comfy especially the second row, a lot more room back there than an LR3.
