2. I am a new Rover-Landers club member and included my forum ID on my registration. When I try to log into the forum, it says my ID doesn't exist. - The club registration system is separate from the Roverforum. You must manually create your forum ID on the forum. After a new club member joins, the Webmaster checks for their forum ID and authorizes it to view the club members only sections. Select the Login link at the top right of your screen and then select the Register link and follow the prompts. You must use the same email and user name you entered on your club membership form.
3. I am a new Rover-Landers club member and can log into the forum, but cannot see the club members only sections. Please send a private message or email to the Webmaster to get your ID authorized.
4. I forgot my forum ID or password. Select the Login command and at the next screen then select "I forgot my password". Enter your email and password reset information, including your forum ID, will be sent to you. 5. How do I add pictures or other files to my post? - At the bottom of your new post or reply, there is the Attachments tab that gives you instructions on how to add pictures to your post. Note: The maximum image size that can be uploaded is restricted 1024x768 pixels. Over that size will generate an error and your image will not be uploaded successfully. You can reduce the image dimensions using many freeware programs on pc or mac. On phones and tablets, open the picture to upload and there will be an option to select the size, small, medium, large or original. Usually medium or large will be suitable for upload to your post.
6. Why are my pictures rotated? Pictures these days are auto-rotated to display correctly on pc's, tablets and phones, based on the image EXIF data. Some mobile phone models, particularly iPhones, set incorrect EXIF parameters on images. There is no simple way to fix that and it's not really a phpBB (our forum s/w) problem, so these pictures are shown using the default rotation. To manually fix the rotation of your pictures prior to uploading:
a) On Windows 10 or higher, right click on the photo. There will be an option to rotate the image. Rotate the image 90 degrees and save it, then rotate again until it is vertical, save and exit. Then when you upload your photos they should appear in the correct rotation.
b) On Mac OS X, click on the photo in Finder. There will be an option to rotate the image. Rotate the image 90 degrees and save it, then rotate again until it is vertical, save and exit. Then when you upload your photos they should appear in the correct rotation.
b) On older pc and mac software, open them in your picture viewer. There will be a "rotate" option in the menu. Rotate the image 90 degrees and save it, then rotate again until it is vertical, save and exit.
c) On iPhone and Android, open the image. There will be an option to edit the image. Select it. Rotate the image 90 degrees and save it, then rotate again until it is vertical, save and exit. Then when you upload your photos they should appear in the correct rotation.
Note: Sometimes picture thumbnails will appear sideways in your post, but when you click on them they display correctly. This is a known issue with the forum application.
