Calling all Okanagan Rovers — and anyone else interested!

#1 Post by DaveB » Sun Oct 29, 2006 6:31 pm

On Saturday November 11, at 3 PM, we will be hosting an informal gathering of Land Rover enthusiasts at the Anchor Inn Pub/Restaurant, Armstrong, BC.

Followed in the evening by a campfire at our home, and a non-damaging Snowflake run on Sunday, November 12. Location of run will be dependent on the weather. We have room for a few folks to camp in our livingroom and the den, or you can feel free to set up camp outdoors if you're up to it.

The Sunday run will depart our place at 9:30 AM so if you want to head home for the night... or join us just for Sunday, please let me know.

Guys from the coast... It's a long weekend, so come on and join us!

Let me know if you're interested or need further details.

thanks, Dave

Armstrong is just north of Vernon, so about 5 hours from Vancouver. Best method is the Coquihalla to Kamloops, then south on Highway 97 about 20 KM east of Kamloops. This avoids the rather slow drive through Kelowna. It's about 470 KM.

Drive up afterwards, you're already 80 KM closer...
