Is anyone intrested in moving this run to the 11-12 of August ? We would be running from the south to the north this time and it's the last run we will have to clean up the trail before the BFG thing.

Dammit  I forgot my stupid friends are getting married that weekend. I really need to change my priorites... I just want to get away more than one a year. This is like the 4th wedding this summer. People should plan around my landrover addiction. :D

Thanks for the consideration, however I have a river rafting trip booked for the 11th. I only have 1 weekend off in august 18/19, but I’m sure something will come up for that weekend too.

We now have 3 trucks confirmed to go and 5 confirmed to stay, anyone else ? For those that can't make it we will be going again in sept. and oct. If you haven't done this run now is a great time to go with 3 very experienced drivers including a living legend to show you the way. This is a pristine high country trail with moderate challenges throughout and a very enjoyable run you won't soon forget.

Sorry to tell you Kris and every one but the trip ended Sat morning before ever hitting the trail. Charlie was very sick and died on the way to the vet there was nothing that could have been done to save him. It looks like he had a tumor that ruptured and he went into shock and died.

Hi Shawn,
Sorry to hear about poor old Charlie, I was lucky enough to play around with him on Friday night & say farewell on Saturday morning.
He was a great RoverLanders companion and will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
All the best,
Andy, Bailey & London

I know what you're going through, Shawn. There's no replacement for a great dog that's been a good pal to all of us at nearly every Rover-Landers event. We're going through the same feelings with Willow, and although there's a fun little pup in our life now, it still doesn't replace the loyal friend that's missing.

Hi Shawn,
A real shock to hear about poor old Charlie. A stalwart Roverlander if there ever was one. A real character with a goofball demeanor and a warm disposition, I'll really miss him.
Charlie.
