Hope everyone has fun, I was hoping to join you and look for some 16" wheels but the wife has other plans. Next year I guess. Geoff

Just a note to say thankyou to the organizers, volunteers, & attendees of the show. It was my first year there & I had a great time. Lots of fantastic rigs, good conversation, and came away with lots of ideas.

Had a great time at Founder's Day, loved the new venue. Good work securing it exec.

Special thanks to the 73 entries for making the effort to be part of the show. It's not a show without Land-Rovers.

Lot's of new members turned up and as usual the great stalwarts from stateside.
Nice to see the friendly dealer reps and all the generous donations to the raffle table as well.
The obstacle course was lots of fun and I think the kids and dogs liked playing on it just as much as those with trucks.
All in all a huge success considering we were priced out of the Cloverdale Agriplex.

A big thank you to the organisers and volunteers. , I'm definitely making it there next year with my land Rover running.... it could be expensive though as Adrie really liked the new Discovery that was on display.

Thanks to the executive committee and fellow members for organizing such a great event! I enjoyed catching up with friends as well as meeting new acquaintances. Loved the Snow Flake Run! I hope everyone made it home safely.

It was 12 hours each way from Edmonton but worth every mile of the trip. Andy and gang....thanks very much for a great day!!!! Bert and I really enjoyed ourselves. And a big bonus was to see all those faces I already knew, and put faces to names as well!!!! Looking forward to the next one....

I would have thought a Land Rover show would be held, outside...in the summer... must be a lower mainland thing.

Bill,

I am the guy who coordinated with you to get the Defender parts shipped to our Brasilian overlanding friends. I was at the show, but it don't think we got a chance to chance to meet. I will have to keep an eye for you when you come to next year's event or when I get a chance to drive up to Edmonton. Great news that the journey home was uneventful.

It was an awesome Founder's Day as always, thank you to all those who pitched in early to help with set up.

We had 73 Land Rovers in the Show and still room for more! (next year 100  )??? There were quite a few Land Rovers who made the effort to come in from Alberta, Manitoba, Washington and Oregon.... so for those who thought Chilliwack was a long drive from Vancouver ...there is really nothing to complain about

A BIG shout out to our Sponsors & Supporters, I think everyone who attended would agree we had a impressive table full of raffle prizes and merchandise.

The Log obstacle course was a fun way to pass the time and it was interesting to see how the different Land Rovers and drivers tackled the course.

While running around I did mange to take a bunch of photos which I have posted in the 2016 Photo Gallery, I'm sure there is lots of you out there with photos of the Event, so please share, send them into Bill or myself and we will get them posted for all to enjoy. http://roverlanders.bc.ca/gallery/view_ ... e=album593

Founders Day always kicks off the year events for the Rover-Landers, Spring is almost here.. hope to see everyone out on lots of trips in 2016,

Cheers, Andy
