My thanks also to all those previously mentioned, a tremendous effort. It was a real pleasure to see so many members and our american friends out for this late season run. Thanks to all who helped with the various mechanical foibles including my own water pump failure.

My thanks to the Whipsaw committee and all those who volunteered to help out with the great BBQ spread on Saturday night. Without that effort we would have all been shivering in our tents.

A great event, thanks Pete, Kris, Shawn and Andy for organizing and your crew for putting it all together!

Hey All just wanted to thank everyone for a great weekend, yes cold, wet and even some fun in the sun. We had a great time. Dave, Pamela, Shawn and Dave special thanks for organizing so much with the food, getting us through the tough spots with minimal damage, lol one small wheel scrape for all those who are interested. If I forgot anyone my apologies there was so many people who helped out to make the event a great success. Our best John and Sandrine.

To all you photographers...

Lets see your shots...Most of us are always in the truck when an interesting shot occurs (like me being high centered)...lol...and it's always fun to see what others have taken.

Either send them to our resident photo archivist Bill, or post a link to where you store your shots.

Looking forward to some interesting pics. Here's my link to my photobucket site.

wow, what a great 3 days, cant imagine not having done the ASHNOLA TRAVERSE, what a view from the top. , even the slash plies from the clear cut couldnt dim the views.
And a big 3 CHEERS to the GREAT TEAM, that fed and entertained us,.Sat evening. And yes JOHN the corn was good, .Snow on the roof top tent in early october was a hoot to wake up to.
So glad the old rover made the trip in one piece, almost rolled it from a stall and wet brakes, Had to kick start my heart to get it out of my throat. [lol]. but i survived it all, Wonderful to meet some new folks from THE USA. and a few more HAM,S as well, didnt hurt.
it was definately a HIGHLIGHT of my 7 years of ownership of the 1965 109. thanks for a great weekend.
all the best RICK MELLENGER
