Hi Everyone,

I'm relocating to Ontario and my 1965 S2A 109" Land Rover is up for sale. You can see the build thread here for photos:

viewtopic.php?f=15&t=6548

29,000 original mils on the body/frame.

Complete body off frame rebuild - frame is solid and has zero rust/rot. It was primed, painted (2 coats) and waxoiled when during the rebuild (2016). The following components were replaced in 2015/2016 and have less than 1,000 miles on them:

- shocks
- bushings
- Wiring harness
- brakes including brake lines
- clutch including clutch lines
- converted to -ve earth with a new AC Delco alternator
- Fuel tank and fuel lines
- Axle seals and swivel gaskets. Swivel balls are immaculate with zero pitting
- Rebuilt hand brake drum with new components
- Head gaskets, spark plugs, belts all new
- Exhaust pipe and muffler
- Carb (I think I have a zenith on there)
- battery
- Gearbox and transfer case were gone through and rebuilt/resealed

In addition, the bulkhead was stripped, painted and is also rust/rot free. Bodywork was given a farmer's paint job which looks "Goodish" from 15 feet away. She's showing some battle scars on the bodywork, some guys call it patina.

She runs, drives and stops. I had her registered and insured on the road in 2017/2018 and was driving from Horne Lake to Parksville regularly until I parked it up in 2019. Since 2019 she's been used as a run around vehicle at the lake and is currently dry stored. Vehicle last ran in November 2020 and fires up every time.

I put a lot of time and love into the old girl since I owned her (you can see on the rebuild thread above) and she needs some minor things to be a reliable daily driver/runabout:

- New tires
- rear glass (safari door)
- stock throttle linkage needs installing (I have it and have just got a temporary linkage set up on there for now)
- windscreen wiper motors need going over
- No heater, but has the holes cut into the passenger footwell for one

Comes with a few spares (glass, floor pans, half shafts, hubs, head, fuel pump etc...) and a newer winch if you want it thrown in.

Asking $12,000
Located on Vancouver Island

Note, I am currently in Ontario but can arrange for the vehicle to be viewed. I plan on making a trip back in February - I was a club member until recently and plenty on here can vouch that I'm a real person and not an internet scammer LOL.
