The Rover-Landers of BC

Was getting ready to do some body work.. and decided to remove the all the glass ... and ended up breaking the front windshield

So here he question ?

- is he heated windshield the way to go ? where is he best place to buy one ?
- anyone have a windshield heated or otherwise that would like to sell ?

its flat tempered glass ... can't any glass shop cut it ?

Glass shop should be able to cut a laminated safety glass windshield and install it for around $300. Heated will be expensive though nice, my RRC has a heated unit but it challenges the electrical system to run it along with the headlights, heater, etc... in very cold weather.

Never thought about the charging system?

Rovalution in N-Van had a couple of second hand Defender windshields last year, maybe worth a call to see if he still has them.

A few of us have heated front glass in our Defenders and they work really well. It will be close to $2K by the time you have added shipping, wiring, installation etc
