Disco 1 engine swap

What makes sense for a disco 1 swap? In terms of price, ROI, availability, ease of swap over etc.

TD5 make a nice swap.
Although a 300tdi is an easier conversion.
Seeing that the 4.0 is a old Buick engine, a Vortec 4.3 would make a nice conversion as well. A little less fuel thirsty than the 4.0.

My Disco went from V8 to 300tdi with a previous owner, and having owned both versions, I’m pretty happy with it. Looks like it went in very clean and fits just great.
