Where to start?

In using the remote to lock, all doors lock except passenger front on my ‘97 D1. Where to start? Thanks

I have had this issue with mine.
I found that the signal wire off the 10as module is too short and does not pick up the signal very well.
Also, the plip for the d1 is not very good. I have been toying with the idea of getting a UK 10as module with the 433mhz. The UK plips seem to work much better and have a stronger signal.

Or the other thing, could be a faulty door lock motor causing the fuse to blow under the hood.

I have a few spare door lock motors if you need one.

Quick update. After closing the passenger door with the key, and locking the remaining doors via remote, I suspect a faulty lock motor as landcrabmechanic may have figured out.

Has this been resolved? This is what I found on my Td5 Defender - probably the same on the D1.

The wire to the door lock often gets broken through constant flexing. It breaks inside the black rubber tube between the door and the door post. You probably need to pull the door card off to get the broken end out. Once you have fished the broken end out you can splice on a new bit of wire, feed it through the rubber tube again and splice it on the door frame end. Put it all back together and you’re done.

Its an easy fix. I’ve had to do this on three doors now. It was exactly the same problem, in the same place on all three doors.
