Hi All:

Pippa's series 3 petrol 2.5 quit last night, luckily just as she got into the drive. No power, no ignition, no lights, which were on when it quit.
Checked the battery. It is fully charged. Battery cables snd connections all sound, clean and tight. Ground wires sound and clean. Fuses all appear good but I am off to Lordco for new set.
Any thoughts on the problem are appreciated.
Thanks, Larry

If the fuses are all good, look for a broken or loose lead, leading to the ignition switch.

Certainly sounds like a battery or battery Cable issue. Could be Ignition switch related?
Did you check both ends of the battery cables?
Were there any signs of this happening in the days/hours before it all went black? Any burning smells of signs of smoke.

A voltmeter is your friend. Trace voltage till it stops. Landrovers have weird electrical issues often due to poor grounding. I ran a dedicated ground wire from my instrument panel and lights, right back to the negative post. That solved a lot of issues. The strangest one I ever had was a lead battery post connecting clamp that would not conduct, even when cleaned.
