Disco 1 issues HELP please

Driving to Surrey from Vancouver last night in the heavy rain my truck just died.
I cannot hear the fuel pump when the key is engaged, the fuel pump relay under the hood does not smell bad. Does anyoine have a spare I could try?
I have checked all the fuses and they are all OK.
I have not yet pulled the ecu but did remove the cover and everything is dry around the plugs.
Also, do any of you have a diagram of what all the relays on the passenger side foot well and behind the glove box are for? I cannot find a diagram.
I had my truck towed back to east van last night.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry to hear about your water issues, on a Disco this could be so many things.
I have seen a garage troubleshoot this issue on a Disco when in the UK. What they do is dry everything out, sometimes it needs a heater under the engine area for a couple of days. When dry, get the engine running again normally, take a spray bottle full of water and soak each component for a few minutes (one at a time). If it doesn't effect the running, dry the area and soak the next component. The theory is, once you get to the component that is affecting the engine running it will show up.
Also check if you have any plastic, rubber, metal shields or covers missing. Its quiet normal for previous owners to remove these and not put them back on.
There are lots of electrical diagrams / drawings / manuals in the Discovery workshop manual & diagram tab (need to be logged in and a RL members to see this very handy Technical area of the forum),
Good luck
Andy

Could be the Crank case position sensor, if they die you get nothing. I am assuming it turns over, one test you can do is turn the engine over while watching the tach, the needle should bounce, if not could be dead CPS. This is not a perfect test.
Mine died in the driveway, zero warning parked the truck, would not start the next day.

I had a RRC that in the same dark and stormy nigh scenario and it turned out the pump wire had corroded through and finally snapped back near the tank but that was just my situation

All fixed now!
Ended up being the crank position sensor.
