Looking for an alternator for my 200tdi. Don't need anything special. Does anyone have any reommendations for something reasonably priced?

Disco or Defender?

It’s a Land Rover series 2. Has a 200tdi installed. Previous alternator is Lucas LRB127.

You either have a Disco or Defender timing case. The alternators for each are completely different. We need to know this in order to make a suggestion.

Then the stock 65 A is as big as will fit. I usually find bringing in an OEM one from the UK is the cheapest. There are local options as they fit some tractors.

Easy to rebuild or get replacement parts locally.
