Hi all, going to do some scouting for this years rally on Sunday, all are welcome to join.

Going to meet at Tim Hortons in Duncan next to the forest museum on the 30th at 9:30!

Bring recovery equipment and maybe a chainsaw if you have one.

Next weekend wont work for either myself or Colin.

We had a good day out today beautiful scenery on a road we have not traversed before, truly spectacular.
It was a short day, 2 vehicles one British one built in another country..............guess which one broke down? You have a 50/50 chance of getting this right.

Next scouting trip will likely be on April 12 -13th. Times a ticking only 33 more sleeps till the start of the 22nd Van Isle Land Rover Rally. Mark your calendars.

We will once again be scouting this Sunday, April 13th, if anyone has a good suggestion on where to visit this year it would be appreciated!

We'll meet once again at tims around 9:30, there could be scratches this time!

Sorry my lead did not pan out, it was a air plane crash site from WW11 but unfortunately only a few miles from last years submarine event..............I'm sure we do not want to re-visit that site again.
I have no clue where to go this coming Sunday. Sorry

Are you talking about the B24 site up Flora Lake 400 Victor? Last time I tried to get up there. Been a few years there was a pretty good washout. Jeeple may have repaired it by now though. I remember the track after the washout got a little tight, like nearly single track and there is a hike to get to it. If that’s the one you’re thinking of ?

Yes that's the one, I have not been there and I think its maybe way to rough for the Saturday no scratch run anyway.
But i would like to go up there one day, maybe next November in time for Remberance day? Kind of like we did this last fall to the Mount Bolduc crash site that was a good day.
It was just an idea for the no scratch Saturday........... run likely no good.

Okay another very good day out, but we still dont have the final route completely planned out yet....but we are getting close. Its going to be the best run yet.
So there will be one more scouting trip before the 22nd annual Van Isle Land Rover Rally takes place on May2nd 3rd and 4th.
Stay tuned to this channel for info on the next trip .

I snapped an axle shaft trying to ram my lwb up that b24 trail I think it’s for motor bikes haha.
I’m probably able to join for the next scouting trip last time I went out with you guys I wasn’t married and didn’t have kids so it’s been awhile
I’ll keep an eye on this thread.
