Distance between SII main gauges?

Trying to make a dash for my resto-mod that's relatively faithful to the original, but don't have an original to work from. Having this measurement would make cutting the giant holes in this new blank panel slightly less stressful

Update: A friendly stranger on FB has now informed me that they're 2.5" ring to ring or 6.5" center to center. So, unless anyone disagrees within 24 hours, then I'm going to take their word for it. Thanks! :)

Yes, agreed.
Mine measure out the same at 6 1/2" between centers and 2 1/2" in between the two.
