Squamish Area

The Squamish Area has been my backyard for outdoor recreation and off-roading since I finished building my 1966 Landrover in 1996. Over the last five years we have lost access to many of the areas and trails like Indian Arm FSR/Norton Lake, Hut Lake, Starvation Lake.
It may be too late to for some of these trails, but I'd like open discussion for the future of off-road trails in this area.
The most recent and a big loss is access to the STAWAMUS/INDIAN RIVER FSR and Norton Lake. The "Squamish Forest District" Website, http://www.for.gov.bc.ca/dsq, says that there is "** no anticipated opening date **" for this area.
Some of the issues have been discussed in other forums and on BC4x4.com. It would be nice if we can get group together to approach the district, discuss the issues and work with the district in order to regain access.
