Welcome Martin.

Easy drive for a RR Classic would challenge a lot of other stock SUV’s out there, should be no problem for u to join a drive…you’ll find that they mostly happen on weekends of course and that you going to have venture futher than the North Shore. Squamish area is pretty good, except this time of year snow can limit access.

A trip to the Fraser Valley…like Harrison Lake area has a lot of low elevation trails that are good this time of year.

Good tires you have got, wouldn’t worry about much else till you spent some time on trail in near stock form. Just strong recovery points front and rear. May want to acquire a good recovery strap…always makes a good impression to provide some of the equipment to help others and from time 2 time yourself.

Hey Paul and Martin, Why don't you guys come along on the Hale Creek clean-up run leaving from the Sasquatch INN at 10 sharp this coming Saturday morning. Martin, this is a very easy going run for your truck and will give you a chance to meet a few of us in the Roverlanders and others from the Herd of Turtles?

The address is 46001 Lougheed Hwy, , Harrison Mills, BC. The easiest if you are not familiar with the Fraser Valley is to get directions/map from one of the many internet resources

Hi Martin, I see John has posted with an answer to your question about the location of Sasquatch Inn. The map links are a great way to find your way there. Basic description is that you follow Lougheed Hwy east out of Mission as it winds its way through the Fraser Valley farmland, past Dewdney, past Deroche, past Lake Errock. Sasquatch Inn is a Pub/Restaurant on the corner where you peel off left to head up a gravel road that leads to among other things; Hemlock ski resort, Chehalis river and lake, a fish hatchery and then ultimately up the West Harrison forest service road. You pretty much can't miss the Inn unless you're asleep at the wheel. See you there.
Bill

PS Recommend you get gas at the Lake Errock gas station on the right hand side. There is one more opportunity at the reserve but the price is usually higher.

Hi Martin,

Unless your fuel/engine tune is way off or u intend to drive at full throttle (which you won’t be able to). You won’t need to carry extra fuel, it’s a little bit dangerous to do so when it just shouldn’t be necessary. You’ll find with relatively low speeds on the main forest service roads & very low speeds in low range on the trails you won’t burn any where near a full tank of gas.
