What's happening on the Island?

I don't know! You will have to fill me in.
Things I do know? I gave up my rented shop and have moved all 8.2 Brazilian bits and pieces of my Land Rover to the neighbours garage so I can have it closer to home to work on it. I felt I had to get it mobile before moving, so I got the transmission put back together and installed c/w transfer case. The hand brake is installed and prop shafts are in so I could stop it going onto and off the trailer. Now I'm cleaning his shop so I'll have enough room to get back to work on the Rover.
A friend from Search and Rescue was looking for a Discovery. They wound up buying a '98 Range Rover on Ebay. He flew the next day to Atlanta to drive it home. The drive was great with no problems. It sat at the border for a couple weeks before all the proper paperwork would finally arrive and they could drive it the last few miles. They both love it last I heard and haven't been surprised by any problems. Including the flight and six day drive back, it was less money than buying locally.
Victor has continued to tiddly things up on his already immaculate Dormobile. The fenders were off it last I saw.
Several Islanders were at the Founders Day event. I can tell because I recognize a few in the photo gallery. Any Islanders win any prizes or draws?
Take care.
