Check out this classic, its now in the driveway waiting spring cleaning. the question is what to do with it. it has already been modified so bringing it back to 74 specs will be costly. but what to keep and what to change???
3.5 V8 with twin carbs
5 speed box
LT230 transfer
steel rims
solid roof with no sunroof
dash has been changed to a newer style
interior is ripped up but fixable.
doors sag
hood is a monster, it weighs a ton.
body and frame are pretty good, probably does not need any panels replaced. although some panels dont seem original, can see paint peeling off different color below. car was originally the maroon color but it looks like it was sprayed over to make it a 2 tone.
frame has the removable hitch.
OME shocks
maybe i can mix and match some parts from the 90 parts truck i am selling to make a solid truck, maybe a diesel. maybe switch to alloy rims, maybe switch the roof, maybe switch the hood, maybe not....i cant decide. definately needs a paint job.
any ideas???....
