Hi everyone,

If your planning on coming out to this years ABFM, May 17th at Vandusen Gardens please pre-register as soon as possible. The organizers are planning special arrangements for Landrovers 60th Anniversary and would like to know how many trucks to expect.

Last year we had a great show of Landrovers. Everyone set-up there canopy's and roof top tents and we stole the show up on the hill. This year I'm told we'll be getting more room up on the hill for the Landrovers and we will be better organized. Check out pictures from last year here: http://roverlanders.bc.ca/gallery/view_ ... me=album28

I just registered three of my Landrovers, now I have to figure out how to get them there!!!

You can find more information at: http://www.westerndriver.com/abfm/

I'll see you there!!

Later,
Don

I'm going to try to have my SIIA ready for this...
Right now I'm getting towards the putting back together stage.
Took me one month to get everything apart, and almost ready
for the re-installation. Think I can get it painted and back together
in two months?

Just to follow up on last weeks meeting...

To enhance Landrover's 60th Anniversary celebrations, following the ABFM at Vandusen, we are planning a Landrover convoy from Downtown Vancouver to north of Squamish (about a 2-hour drive), for a campout on the Squamish River and a run up the Elaho River FSR on Sunday.

There will be no facilities at the campsite. Bring your usual camping gear, food, drink and some winter gear just in case, since it has been snowing at sea level this weekend.

A number of people showed interest at the meeting.

Please let us know your interest here!

Later,
Don

Darn I am away for a couple weeks in May during this time! Was actually thinking that I represent the 60th well having a 2008 truck! Hope someone will take my place!

All the best,

Unfortunately, I'm already committed to another event on Saturday.

Is there an opportunity to rendezvous with the group on Sunday so that I can participate in the run along the Elaho FSR?

If so, where and what time?

Would love to be there but my budy Shawn turns 40 that weekend and we are over on the island kayaking the broken group, hope to be out soon with more new goodies to try out.

Cheers
Andrew
