Water pump to head gasket - what to use? (Series I)

I guess the subject says it all, I need to fit a new water pump to my series I and do not have the correct stock gasket which I think is an "O" ring (?) that seals the TOP of the pump to the bottom of the head.
Any help would be much appreciated.
