This is very good news, I have missed the springs over the past few years, now we just need to keep it to ourselves! This may be the trip I need to try out my blue defender!

Leaving Firdya after work around 4ish, will be on Cb channel 4 or VHf
My friends where just up there and there was no one pertroling the area YET!!!!!!!
There are rumours they may charge for the campsites.......
They have added more pools and a water fall shower which looks very cool.
The campsite Is about 10 min drive from the springs and its brand new......
Cheers

Made it back in one peace after the rain....
The road going in has been well maintained, the campground are like new with fire pits and tables. $10.00 charge per night per site.
Hot springs, heres the let down $5.00 per day only two tubs are open the 3rd new tub will likely get washed away by the river, tubs are concrete and are drained yes drain every night at 8pm.
This trip Is worth the drive to see the devastation from the slid Its miles wide.
We all agreed that this road will have to be heavily maintained to keep the springs open. the best part of the trip was up to the other springs north of Meger, We found a FSR on the east side of the valley that gave amazing views and was a little challenging we stoped at a look out point at 5100 feet.
Cheers

I went for a little drive up to Meager last week. there was no one at the gate ( it was 5-7 pm) and the tubs were full. Just your usual pair of naked hippies.
Not as nice as it used to be but still definely worth a stay, perhaps I'll combine it with a drive over the mountains to Goldbridge etc.
perhaps a trip for next season???
