The Rover-Landers of BC

So I am blowing wiper fuses in the 90 like crazy and was wondering were
to start looking for a fix? Wiring (for a short) first
or the motor/or wiperpark switch?
Or something else entirely?
Google was only maginally helpful.

Ps are the fuses an odd length? The ones I buy to replace them seem too long

I assume you have a copy of the manual with the wiring schematic? You just need to start tracing the circuit until you find the problem.....

Hi Glen,

The simplest way to narrow it down is to disconnect both wipers at the motors and switch them on. If the fuse blows then it points to the switch or the wiring.

If it doesn't blow the fuse then reconnect one wiper at a time and see which motor blows the fuse.

If there is no disconnects at the motors you may have to crimp some on.

One other thing to check, are there any other lwires on the wiper fuse apart from the wipers?
It is always a possiblity that someone has added an "accessory" to the wiring at sometime in the past!

Maybe I misunderstand what you are meaning, but there is only one wiper motor.

It could be a wiring problem. It could be a motor problem. It could be a binding problem in the drive system.
