The Rover-Landers of BC

Hi Everyone,

The Rover-Landers will be holding an informal coffee night on the second Thursday of each month. Starting off in Vernon, we will then try and move around including Kelowna, Winfield, Armstrong and Salmon Arm, or decide as a group what works best.

For this first coffee night, we've got a spot booked at the Little Tex in Vernon at 6:30 PM, Thursday, February 10th. They are open to serve dinner, desserts or just coffee, depending on your appetite.

If you think this might be something you'd enjoy, please join us for an evening of meeting new friends and swapping a few stories. We also plan to put on some movies (Camel Trophy, Mackenzie Trail, Canol Trail) in the future as well as slide shows of various Land Rover events, both off-road and show and shine from around the northwest.

Please let us know if you plan on attending so we can confirm with the restaurant.

We had a successful get-together at the Little Tex, with a half dozen of us attending. We're going to do this monthly on the Thursday before the lower mainland meetings.

We may look for another meeting spot, but the food ws good and it was big enough for up to 10 people, so likely we'll meet there again in March.

Anyone from outside the area that happens to be going through on the second Thursday of the month, please feel free to join us as well.
