Rear ride height switch in a D2 with air suspension?

#1 Post by davran » Fri Feb 18, 2011 8:39 am

All,

The 11/00 D2 I just got has rear air suspension, but doesn't have the button on the dash to raise and lower the rear end; I thought all air-suspended LRs had that feature. Can this be retrofitted?

Thanks,

David

Ummm yes there should be a toggle on the dash to raise and lower the rear air springs...something is defiantly a miss there. If there isn't a switch makes me wonder if you have original equipment air springs?

The button should look like this - if I can get the picture posted!

I checked with the dealer and the printout said this D2 originally had air suspension, but, there's definitely no "raise" button.

There are receipts for insurance repairs for the dash and interior when the truck was once vandalized inside. Maybe the incorrect button set was installed?
