Torque convertor lockup speed on automatic ZF trans?

All,

In the article Dave posted about the 2.8 diesel conversion for the D2, it states: "The 4th gear lockup speed should be 45mph. This can be altered by changing the hysterisis spring in the valve block."

How easy is this to do? I feel the torque convertor clutch engages too soon on the 4.0, lugging the engine at 1,200rpm at 60kph. Can a tranny shop change this hystersis spring without too much expense?

Thanks,
