The Rover-Landers of BC

Sunday April 17th 2011 THe Old English Car Club of Victoria will be having thier annual spring show at Sanichton Acres which is on the East side of the Pat Bay Highway out towards the main ferry terminal. 10:00 to 3:00. Cost is only $3.00 It is a interesting place to wonder around. There is lots to look at besides old cars.

So far heading down to the show we have 3 series trucks and a range rover from the Duncan area and a shiny white defender from Lantzille.
We will meet at the usual location in Duncan which is the Tim Hortons north of Duncan across from the BC Forest Discovery Centre.
Meet at 8:00 for coffee and leave for the show at 8:30 sharp.
Let us know if you are coming and we will wait for you untill 8:30.

Our drive down from Duncan tomorrow morning is officially canceled as of 10:17 Saturday night. No body except Dave and Evee out of the 6 rovers that were planning to drive down can make it.
I hope nobody shows up at Tim Hortons tomorrow(Sunday morning) and waits for 6 rovers to show up as nobody is coming.
I am sure the show will some how go on with out us.

Well we would not have made it down anyway. At 6:00 pm last night a semi trailer fuel truck overturned on the Malahat drive close to Victoria. This is the only route down to Victoria The road may be reopened at noon Sunday.
