You cannot legally export military vehicles to Canada nor by US military equipment as a non US citizen under some changes to US law. I was looking at buying an exmil 6.5 diesel in Montana when I found this out.

You can't export US Military items from the US. This is a US law. No problems with the UK

the only way one can bring in US military equipment is that it has to have a civilian title and meets the 15 year rule . a friend of mine here in PG purchased a US military H1 humvee from a chap in San Diego in 2007 . he trailered back home here in PG .
apparently in the early 90's , the US military released 600-700 H1 humvee's for sale to the general US public ; this humvee was one of those . however this does not happen today ... not sure what happens to their outdated equipment ?
