Temp Accommodation Needed Oct-Dec

Hi Guys, I am posting this on behalf of a couple of friends of mine, Pablo and Anna.
They are a couple from Spain who are driving around the world in a 4x4 Mitsubishi van. They have been on the road for 11 years. (their website is http://www.viajeros4x4x4.com/) They are staying in Vancouver for a few months as they translate their book into English.
They are looking to rent a small space from the beginning of October till the end of December.
They are a quiet couple, they take good care of things, and don't need a lot of space (after 11 years in a mini-van they have gotten good at small-space living).
So if someone has a little suite over their garage, or maybe a tiny apartment that isn't being used for a few months, they would really appreciate it. They don't have a big budget, maybe $400-600 total.
Ideally the place would include parking for their mini-van.
If anyone has a space, or has any ideas of where to look, please let me know.
