The Rover-Landers of BC

so now that this thing is all together it keeps blowing the oil filter off , i had the oil pump and check valve out of the front cover, either i put something together wrong ( looked pretty staright forward ) or the check is stuck , anyone have this problem before and a solution ? its a 2000 d2 4.0 , hopefully i can fix it without taking it all apart again ...troy

found the issue

"blowing the oil filter off" .what the heck...don't keep us in suspense.....

What was it :?:

i put the check valve in backwards , all back together running good.
