All,

A leaf has made its way to the heater fan on the D2. Is there a way to get the leaf out without dissaembling the whole vehicle?

Thanks,

Simplest solution I have found is to run the fan on high for awhile and the noise seems to go away (shreds the leaf I suppose).

Tried that, and I think the leaf just got pushed aside as the noise came back. Maybe it has to dry out enough to disintragrate...

I may be wrong but shouldn't there be a sponge-like filter piece behind the intake grill to prevent objects entering the heater body? Maybe yours has dislodged or is missing?

I would say keep it hot and dry as much as possible and it will eventually fall apart.... so just leaf it alone for now

The foam filter spoken of is there and fully intact. I don't care much, but it drives the beautiful Cyndi bonkers. Must find a fix or face the consequences. I'm desperately trying to ignore the pun...
