The Rover-Landers of BC

Hello all,

I currently live in LA but was a resident of BC for years where i bought my LR3 new. I travel north lots so i was curious what replacement tires would you recommend i get to replace my old rubber? The tire size is 255/55R19.

Hi Dean,
Is it mainly on-road use, or are you spending a fair bit of time off-road too?
Does your time up North include Winter travel?

Mostly road but do hit trails too sometimes. And some winter driving but not that much down here. If i did i would throw chains on.

There is a RL member JC who found some good looking 19" tires for his LR3, maybe he will post up the details...
Maybe a little aggresive for what you are looking for, but they sure looks the part and he has found them to be very good all round performers.
I believe they were Goodyear Wranglers in the first photo but he may of changed them to another type by the second photo (3 yrs later):?:

I've fitted a set f cooper Zeon LTZ to my 2006 LR3. So far I'm impressed with them they have a an aggressive tread pattern but the road noise is no worse than the pirelli scorpions that I replaced. I've put about 5000km on them (mostly city driving) and they are holding up well. My tire guys recommended rotating them every 5000km as they are soft/sticky tires. cooper just came out with the 255/55/19 size for us LR3 Range Rover owners that wanted a little more aggressive tire but didn't want to buy new 18" rims.
