The Rover-Landers of BC

Hi all. Kevin here, great looking site. Currently have a 96 Discovery, which we definitely enjoy driving. We are located just outside Nnanaimo on Spruston rd, tons of good trails up there. However one of our concerns is, is that neither myself or wife are very mechanical (as in zero). Just wondering if anybody local wouldn't mind just showing us some stuff to do for the vehicle, as we don't want to keep going to the mechanic for every strange noise or rattle. I'll post some pics hopefully soon.

The Rover-Landers has a Vancouver Island "chapter" who have meetings and local runs. If you look through the Forum you will see a tab dedicated to the Van Isle crowd. Keep an eye on that for when the next coffee night / day run comes up. I'm sure they can pass on lots of great ideas / advice for the not-so-mechanically minded.
....and like wise, if you find yourself on the Mainland, feel free to come along to any meet / event,

There are a few of us on the island that get together for coffee and the occasional off-road run. Greg :bigsmurf: is usually our fearless leader (he moderates the island rovers section on this forum). Keep an eye on that section of the forum as we usually post our local events there. PS: If you are looking for a reliable mechanic in Nanaimo I take my rovers to Mark at Mark's Import Auto Repair (he is on Wellington Road).
