The 2013 Defender is a clear evolution of the original Land Rover first produced in 1948. This iconic vehicle remains the foundation of the entire Land Rover brand and has sold in excess of 2 million vehicles around the world in its 65 year history.

The 65th Anniversary of the Land Rover brand presents the ideal opportunity to celebrate Defender’s success. The LXV (65 in Roman Numerals) is a limited edition of just 65 vehicles. All are Defender 90 Hard Tops in striking Santorini black with gloss finished grey Sawtooth alloy wheels. A Corris Grey contrast roof, painted grille and side runners complete the dramatic appearance.

Inside, the cabin features full premium black leather seats, leather steering wheel and a leather centre console box all finished with a unique contrasting orange stitch. The modern feel continues with standard air conditioning, Bluetooth, electric windows and remote central locking, heated seats and heated front and rear screens.

LXV is the first Defender Hard Top to offer a delete bulkhead option as standard, which allows a greater range of movement for the premium front seats.

A Tow Bar and front mud flaps can be ordered from the accessory range together with grey Union Jack decals to signal Land Rover’s proud British heritage.

The Defender LXV Special Edition is being unveiled during the Land Rover 65th Anniversary brand celebrations on the 30th April.
