I'll be seeing you folks Friday. Who else from the Vancouver area is heading up? It was a great run last year!

I will be returning from Calgary this weekend with my family in the LR3 and this looks like a great trail to take a side trip on. I would most likely overnight in enderby and catch up in the morning on Saturday. I will post here on Thursday to confirm our arrival. Finally I can join one of these mainland trips!

Rendez-vous site. That's +50.664771° -118.830234° not - 50.664771° -118.830234°. I've been going nuts here as the GPS is new and confusing. :banghead: Unless we really are meeting in the South Pacific about half-way between Chile and New Zealand. IF that's the case, I think I'll be a bit late.
Last years photos look spectacular. :D Thanks for organizing P&D. :mi5:

Yes, the first dash is indeed that, a dash, if it were right next to the 50, it would be a minus. The + is assumed. Sorry about that. I'll remove the dash for clarity.

Looking good for meeting up on our way back from Calgary. We may arrive too late to meet up for camping Friday night with our to little ones, Does anyone have any recommendations for accommodation in the Enderby area?

Anyone interesting in convoying from the Lower Mainland? I think I'll probably leave around noon but it will depend on packing and shopping time. Chris? Dave? Others?

Hi Craig,
You'll have to see if Chris is up for convoying.
I am leaving about 5pm Friday and heading to my parents' in Oliver.
Meeting up with the group Saturday morning.

You're an expert at the muddy fun, Chris. :mi5:
It was great! We had the challenge of the Whipsaw at a nice, comfortable length, and the scenery turned up to ELEVEN! Thanks to all the Blairs, the two and the four legged ones, for being such wonderful, helpful hosts.

Definitely one of the summer highlights for my family. This trip was a great introduction into off road driving for my wife kids and the LR3, all of whom survived relatively unscathed. I have to say I'm impressed with the LR3 for capability and comfort, I think its safe to say I was the only one on the trip picking the best line on the trail so I didn't wake up my sleeping 2 year old!
The camping and company at Pam and Dave's was great as well as the gourmet pancake breakfast. Thank you to everyone involved in setting this up.

Isn't this right after Chris tried to hand feed the bear cub some molasses and the mother came after us?

I've posted the rest of David's photos now. They shed some light on the story but there is still some room for concern.
