An illegal and unsafe vehicle, but you can still buy and drive a 1971 Ford Pinto, or a 1960 corvair, or a 1984 fiero, or a 1991 Ford Explorer, or whole host of other highly dangerous but american cars.

What a crime.

There goes an opportunity to cut into that giant US debt...

Just think of the money they (the gov't) could rake in from all those parts!

Apparently, it was stolen, VIN swapped & sold into the US..... play by the rules & you won't get burnt :wink:

Sad to see it crushed but I agree with the others about playing by the import rules.

From reading on D90... they did the same thing with Skylines from Japan a few years ago.... it's called making a statement....
