My Range Rover was NOT spotted on Thursday. :banghead: Ford tried to squeeze between it and a bus.   He didn't fit.

Well, it's nicely open-and-shut as far as ICBC is concerned, but I still have to faff about getting it fixed. I have a few leads, but if you know of an excellent body/paint place, please let me know.

Korva Collision
231 W 2nd Ave
Vancouver, BC V5Y 1C7
Phone:(604) 877-0774

Hours:
Monday 7:00 am – 5:30 pm

We've had the wife's car in once before; did an amazing job. The Rangie will be one of the 'lesser' cars they have in there most likely. They're the go-to for the exotic supercar crowd. Needless to say, they will sort you out properly.

Craig, sorry to hear the bad news ...... ICBC Open and shut case? Is there such a thing?

When our D2 was side swiped Land Rover of Richmond told us their recommended Land Rover repair shop is No. 1 Collision at 12420 Vulcan Way, Richmond. They did a very nice repair job for us.
TIP - get them to check the codes while its in for repair, the impact may of popped up some unseen codes that need resetting.

Cheers,
Andy

Plan B - keep the ICBC money and use that fancy Range Rover for off roading ????

Plan B - keep the ICBC money and use that fancy Range Rover for off roading ???? Well, now THAT'S an idea. Hmmmmmmmmmmm

ICBC - Well, by the time I phoned it in (I talked to my private insurance first) the driver had already admitted fault. (Mind you, with me, the bus driver and a load of bus passengers, the 'he said - he said' probably wouldn't have gotten him very far.)

Thanks for the info all. Yes, I talked to JLR Richmond and had No.1 Collision recommended. They seem to be the only Jaguar certified aluminium welders around and that sounded very good. But, as there is nothing structural, I've gone with Korva. It has excellent online reviews. Yes, it was packed with Range Rovers. All the rest were Italian exotics - a Maser, a Ferrari like Magnum PI had, and a few others I'm not sure I could name. The place had a good vibe. The only downsides are location (it's a LONG way from Surrey) and their fame has spread. I'm booked it, but not until late November.
