Hi Everyone

I guess we should go for another drive soon. Saturday or Sunday November 9th or 10th sounds good.
Post your preference please.

The meeting place will be the usual, Tim Horton's 1.5 miles north of Duncan across from the BC Forest Museum. Bring the normal necessities ,lunch, radios, lawn chair, warm clothes etc.
If this is a go (enough vehicles coming for sure, lets hear from you!!) we will meet at 8:30 am for Coffee and be on the road by 9:00 am. SHARP.

We can head West of Duncan or maybe head up Copper Canyon, lots of great trails in either place.

My Rover is parked for the winter so I will have to mooch a ride from some one...... please?

Again I am only posting this information on this forum ( not The Van isle land rover network, The yahoo Van isle land rover network, Used Victoria or the Van isle face book page so if you have friends who want to come along please refer them to this forum.

Count me in... I'll have the 130 so there might be room for 1 depending on SWMBO coming along (or not)

Count me in. Saturday, Sunday or Monday.

If there are other women on the run, my wife will come along.

I will let a friend know as well.

I've been away so am needing to check on the weekend activities before I commit. CAN'T make it Saturday for sure. Seem to have a heater blower motor that has quit too so will have to do something about that in the next day or two.

Hello again everyone.

Looks like Sunday November 10th is the day of choice for our drive. As stated above meet at Tim Horton's north of Duncan across from the BC Forest museum at 8;30 for coffee with a 9:00 am SHARP departure time for the trails west of Duncan.
Since we are not exactly sure were we may end up you may come back with some paint scratches but hopefully not.
We should be back on pavement by 3:00pm?
Bring the usual equipment, tow ropes, shovel, radios -- CBs, Ham, or the small family style hand held, lunch, warm clothes, full tank of petrol, camera's, etc.
See you Sunday and hope for better weather.

I still need a ride please (Hope Greg gets his heater fixed)

Cold alert!!! SWMBO has come down with a cold so  I will be riding solo... there's room for a navigator in the 130 if you want to tag along with me for the drive. She is well enough to make cookies though :D

Great day out today, no rain although the puddles were exceptionally deep. Five trucks in total and over 6 hours of great trail driving. Very enjoyable trip, and only one minor breakdown. We found a 1900s mine shaft to explore up by the old town site on Mount Sicker, followed by lunch down by the Chemanus river.

Next Trip may be over the Christmas Holidays possibly up Copper Canyon. Stay tuned to this web site.

Great trip,

I'll work on editing the videos I shot. I've got a good one of me almost going over that cliff! Didn't realize how close I was to ending up on my nose!

Wish I could have been there but my rig is taking a much needed break. Should have the engine swapped over by the end of next weekend.

I'll take a look at all the pictures and video when I get home today/when it's ready.

That was an awesome run, I hope we can do that one again sometime. I know my son would have a blast, too bad he missed this one. A great day out! Disco is in the shop getting the traction control fixed LOL, didn't realize how much of an effect it had.
Great pics Rob, especially the ones with the disco 2 haha! :D
