The ROVERLANDERS are acting as hosts for THE FALL CONVENTION OF THE 4WDABC. The event is planned for Sept 17th, 2005. At COGHLAN HALL located at 6795 256th St.Aldergrove BC. Directions going east are 232nd st off Hwy 1. north on 232nd, rt on 72nd.St. this becomes 256th. St. the Hall is just over the railroad tracks on the right. It is easy to get to going west from Hwy 1 as well. by going north on 264th St. then left on 60th , then rt, on 256th.St.. We are in need of volunteers, as this is a large event for our club to host. We need a large selection of prizes to sell tickets on and many jobs to fill. The Hall has a large kitchen in the lower level so we can possibly host a lunceon as well. Could Volunteers please indicate their availability, and preference of area of service here please.

Wow, Thanks for the support so far. That is great. I am in the early stages of having a team set up to organize the Sunday Run. We should have a letter available soon so club members can canvas companys for prizes. hope to get Dave Blair, to have one to hand out at the next meeting on our club letter head. Again thanks for the support. all the best., RICK.MELLENGER CLUB SECRETARY, ROVERLANDERS.

Dale,

Nice Rubicon. I have not seen you in a while, did not know that you had a new ride. I was amazed last Saturday, as I drove around Langley, to find a Rubicon in each of the three parking lots I stopped in. Apparently not as limited as I thought they were.

If you give away those tug straps what will you use?

Dale,

I could get flamed for carrying on this thread :D but your response got me a googlin'! I did not realize what I was looking at in your picture but your comment on 103" wheelbase caught my attention. In my previous post I was going to comment on the reduced carrying capacity compared to your XJ. It is also funny because as I was looking (I can look can't I?) at the Rubicons I came across on Saturday, I was thinking how great it would be if they did the same package in the long wheelbase version. I did not know that they were. I bet it works quite well in I will be looking forward to seeing it in the rough.

Oh Man, I can't believe that they actually built the unlimited Rubicon. I'm running out of excuses :? First I said I wished they would build a stock TJ with a Dana 44, then they did, then I said some lockers and lower tranfer gears would get me off the couch, then I complained that if only it had more wheelbase. So now what am I supposed to do. If only it came with a diesel engine I would really go out and buy one, yeh that's it.
