Interesting. But remember, there's also protectionism. Canadian regs specifically state that a new car that doesn't conform to our standards CANNOT be made to conform. So, even if you switch every Euro-bit on that Mini for a USA/Can-bit and made it absolutely identical to US/Can Minis, it would STILL not be allowed here.
