Bring your Rover to the Brits on the Beach Car Show - Transfer Beach Park Ladysmith, Sunday July 12. Awesome views, great Rover crowd as well as folks with cute little Brit sports cars. Things are usually started by 10Am with the Rovers gathering and marking their territory in the north corner under the trees. Hope to see you all there. Lisa and I will be offering an after event BBQ at our place in Ladysmith for the Rover crowd.... BYOB and something to share, we'll have the BBQ on and provide burgers and hotdogs (kid friendly). Marg and I are in for the show and the barbee-que at your place. The T- Bones you served us last year were incredable, I am sorry for the rover drivers who never made it up to your place afterwoods................. I guess burgers will be okay this year.

I think we need to get to the show by 9:00 am. at the latest, that show is getting really busy and the area fills up fast.. I think over 300 cars last year.

See you then we will bring a desert for the pot luck.

2nd call... who is going to be there? Look like the weather will be nice, we have a spot picked-out under the shade tree, should be a good day. Lisa and I are still hosting the after-show BBQ at our place in Ladysmith. Everyone "rover-minded" is welcome to attend. BYOB, we will provide the burgers, hotdogs (and air conditioning if it is nasty hot). Please RSVP so we can get an accurate burger count :bounce:

Dave F. and Evie are also coming to the show and your Barbeque. Sadly Dave just sold his real Land rover but can bring the range rover............. I know its just not the same but thats life. He would like his steak medium well please.

Hi, all 4 of us would like to come to the barbecue. Can we bring anything.

Mike Vegh and myself will be coming over from Salt Spring with the Grizzly Torque. Victor was very convincing...

Count us in as well. Ron, Christina and Kensi (the dog).
We will be there by 9:00-9:30 for the show and join you for the BBQ (if it is ok to bring the dog).

Thanks for the responses, here is some more info:

Oliver; it will be great to have you all there, we've got the main course and dessert covered and there will be a kid-friendly fruit punch. Feel free to bring whatever you like that is "shareable".

Ron & Christina; looking forward to seeing you there, the dog is welcome as well (we will keep our cat inside).

Stuart et al; come as you are if you are able to join us it will be great!

Dave and Evie; P38 are always welcome here :)

Looking forward to seeing the rover crowd this weekend at the show and BBQ later (I will have maps at the show and the least "hillish" route up into town).

I am going to meet Stuart and Mike at the Crofton ferry dock at about 7:15 and drive up with them in convoy to Ladysmith. ( Safety in numbers) We should be at your place around 8:00 am. to drop off the items that need refrigerating for the Barbeque after the show.

If any body else wants to drive up on the scenic back road to Ladysmith Sunday morning please join us. The more the merrier.

I take it coffee will be on when we get to your place?
