I'm wondering what any of you have done about replacing your radiator in a series vehicle (mines an S2A). Are they available at all in Canada, do we get them repaired at a rad shop (any recommendations?), has anyone tried fitting an aluminum rad? Thanks for any input.

Hi, I bought an Allmakes or a Britpart rad for my 110 that lasted about 3 years before it began to leak, I then took it in to be repaired but the metal was so thin nothing could be done with it other than re-coring for about $400.00. I figured I could get one for a little less from England but it would be of the same "quality" so I let the guy do the work. He put in a low flow core that gave me 25% more cooling and was a lot thicker than normal. Also came with a warranty  unlike anything English. I have found it to be totally worth it.

Get it re-cored. Any good rad shop can do it and it will retain the original top and bottom tanks.
Did that for my Series One 20 years ago and it is still running great.

Thanks for the advice. I'll probably check out a local rad shop.

Hi:
I got one for my series 3 off the shelf from Jeremy at Rocky Mountain in North Van. So inexpensive I can't even remember how much it was but a lot less hassle than getting my Morgan rad recored. No fuss.no muss, out and in in about an hour and a half.
