From the PCRC:

The organizers have established Saturday and Sunday, October 21 and 22, as the dates for the 2017 Northwest Challenge.

The event will be held on the east side of the Washington Cascades, south of Interstate 90, although the specific location remains to be determined.

The event will be run on a point-to-point basis. It will focus more on cooperative activity, dealing with conditions as they are encountered, and less on competition among participants. It will, however, be a challenge. Participants should have prior off-road driving experience, and vehicles need to be sound, reliable, and suitably equipped.

Additional information on specific location, starting time, and other details will be provided when determined.

Good Morning, here are the known preliminaries...
Vehicles Prep.-

2.) First Aid Kit
3.) CB Radio
3.) Soft Top / No Top must have Roll Bar / Cage
4.) Min. 31" tires ie. 235/85 and up
5.) Max. vehicle width 78" (pretty sure we are all good there but just to be sure)
6.) Min. one traction aid LSD/ LOCKER / WELDED etc.
7.) Co-Driver
8.) FYI -The area requires vehicles to be street legal ie. all functioning lights, licensed and all drivers must be licensed

Event - (Oct. 21, start time 8:30am )

-Damaging run, the trails are not radical,( this has been run in a LWB 109" with no issues but there are some very tight areas,) however, this is not a beginner run and competitive off road driving skills are essential!
-this will be a run with a base camp
-Will be held outside Enumclaw, WA.
-Day run with possibilities of a night run optional
-Old School Group run of follow the Leader with an emphasis on Group Teamwork and FUN!!! (no GPS necessary for run navigation)
-Primitive camp sites (more info to follow for participants)
-An area pass is required and can be purchased close to the venue (more info to follow for participants)

We Look forward to seeing all, please RSVP so we can contact with more information as the even draws closer

Thank you

Who from the lower mainland is planning on attending this NW Challenge? I was thinking about it and wouldn't mind convoying down there.

I went down with my Brother as co driver, lots of fun ( despite the pouring rain storm ) and some very challenging terrain at the Evans Creek off road vehicle park . Pics to follow
